The challenge
Information Technology within an institution is decisive for the good development of processes. In view of this, Caramuru, one of the largest Brazilian grain processing players, needed improvements in its processes. That was when a partnership with Agrione began, focused on meeting the controls and records of execution processes, as well as activities related to exports.
This was a worrying challenge for Caramuru, having a tool for the Execution area with technology to minimize processes, reduce risk, maintain traceability and contribute to the elimination of rework. All to improve processes, information transparency and still make an interface with SAP.
In this context, users from different areas report that Agrione was aligned with Caramuru's demand and thus the system migration took place smoothly, without major setbacks or situations that deviated from the plan.
For a long period we had another application that provided this support only partially; therefore, it did not serve us in a way that would allow us to eliminate processes carried out in electronic spreadsheets. This led us to keep parallel controls in duplicate, as well as a waste of time.
Tavares adds: "this confidence of speaking with Information Technology (IT) professionals who perfectly understood the process gave both parties peace of mind to start a round of presentations for the most different areas", which ultimately decided to hire them as the best solution available on the market.
Bethania Araújo (Execution Manager) emphasizes that she was involved by IT from the beginning of the search for an ideal system on the market: "I attended all the presentations in this phase, but it was only at Agrione that we identified what we were looking for".
